There are a lot of member created groups you can join on RVillage. It doesn't cost anything to join a group, the information can be PRICELESS, and you can meet even more members of this wonderful community! There are a couple of ways to join groups...

  • Joining through the "Browse Group" area

Log into your account. Click "Groups" in the green bar across the top of the site and select "Browse Groups".

At the top of the page, you will see the "Browse Newest Groups" area. Once you find a group you want to join, click "Join" under their group thumbnail pic. Right under that, you will see the "Browse Most Active Groups" area. You can also click "Join" under their group thumbnail pic if you want to join any of those groups. Note: If you are already a member of a group, it will say “Leave” under their thumbnail pic instead of “Join”.

Below those areas is the "Group Directory" area. Once you find a group you want to join here, simply hover over the group's name and click "Join" in the pop-up that appears. Note: Again, if you are already a member of a group, it will say “Leave” under the thumbnail pic instead of “Join”.

  • Joining through a group post shared to the Home Feed

While on the Home Feed, if you have your view set to "All Activity", you will see posts that others have made in groups. You'll know it's a post to a group because of the arrow between their name and the name of the group. Simply click on the group name to be taken to that group's page.

Now that you're on the group's page, there are two places you can click to join the group. At the top of the group’s home page, there is a green “Join Group” button and on the left-hand side of the page, there is a green link that says “Join Group”.

If you have to be approved to join this group, the link and button will instead say "Request Membership". Once the owner of the group approves your membership, you will then be a member of that group. TIP: If you’ve requested to join a group, be sure to check your messages. Sometimes group owners will reach out to you before approving your request to join the group.
